Back From States With Spleen or Stomach Issues

Just had a quick trip last week to Mountain View for some meetings back at the mother ship. While there, I only went out running once .. unfortunately. I had grand ideas about going to the gym and working out. On one day, I did check it out and found that it was quite crowded during the afternoon.

When I got back to Taiwan, I started feeling some weird things going on around the Spleen area. I had it checked by a friend who knows 氣功 (Chi Gong) and he said that it was indeed the spleen. He said it might be blocked up with something. So, the following day I went to the hospital to check it out and they routed me to the wrong doctor. I got my heart checked with ultra sound and ECG. The prognosis is that my heart is really strong and in good working order.

Anyway. I'll need to make sure the hospital routes me to a gastrointestinal expert instead of heart expert next time. I'm letting my body work it out for the next few days to see if there will be improvements. If no change by Friday, I'll schedule it...

Also, I need to figure out how to fix my sweaty back. Ever since I started exercising, it's gotten pretty bad. I have a solution and it's not the Stop Sweating and Start Living crap. I had to reorganize those results since the original is so spammy. #1 is original site, #2 is honest review, #3 is someone asking why it doesn't work. The solution should be easy: daily scrub WITH soap and some kind of scratchy thing. I'll report back later how it works out.

Running When Its Hot is harder

On Wednesday I went out for a run. Pushed six laps at around 36 ~ 38 minutes. The sun was up in the morning with a nice clear sky and it was a lot hotter than I have been used to over the past 6 months. It's starting to get closer to what it was like last summer.

When I started my running program last summer, I could only pull around 2 laps and 12 minutes. After which, I was completely pooped. Since then, I have come a much farther, tripling the time that I can be out there running continuously. Not just a 1 lap run, 1 lap walk thing. Full run throughout.

Anyway, short post. Gotta go.
